March 8, 2009, a cooperation agreement between Beijing BDStar Navigation Co., Ltd. and Dr. Shaowei Han was signed in Beijing, indicating the establishment of Unicore Communications, Inc.
This will enhance the Compass(Beidou) navigation and positioning satellite systems' core competence, long-term strategic goals, "Unicore" registered capital of 50 million, of which 35 million RMB cash capital was contributed by BDStar Navigation, which accounted for 70 per cent of the registered capital; Shaowei Han, joined with his personal assessment of the value held not less than 1 5 million, together with satellite navigation receiver related proprietary technology and intangible assets as capital contribution, accounted for 30 percent of the registered capital.
