On September 24th, INTERGEO EXPO and CONFERENCE 2024 commenced in Stuttgart, Germany. The three-day event has become a premier gathering for professionals and frontier technology in the global geospatial sector. At this international trade fair, Unicore gained close attention with its innovative GNSS products and ecosystem collaboration solutions.
Unicore showcased an array of powerful high-precision GNSS RTK positioning modules and boards, which have become reliable choices for applications in geodesy, engineering surveying and deformation monitoring.
Unicore’s all-constellation, multi-frequency high-precision GNSS RTK positioning products can receive signals from all the existing satellite navigation systems, including BDS, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, NavlC, SBAS and L-Band. Over 20 products based on the three chipset platforms were displayed, and they enable centimeter-level precision for industries such as surveying and mapping, precision agriculture, and industrial UAV, solidifying Unicore’s trustable reputation in the market.
Beyond its traditional application fields, Unicore has also significantly contributed to outdoor robotics with the UM960 and to autonomous driving with the UM670A and UM680A module series. UM960, known for its exceptional reliability and precision, excels in fix rate and anti-jamming performance, meeting the stringent requirements for outdoor autonomous robots for mapping, route planning, and precise navigation. In the realm of intelligent driving, Unicore has been verified by the ISO 26262 Functional Safety Certification.
UM670A and UM680A series are dual-frequency, high-precision modules designed to meet automotive-grade standards. They are widely adopted by both traditional and emerging automakers for ICVs (Intelligent and Connected Vehicles), providing critical support for L2+ Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and L3+ Highly Automated Driving.
In addition to UM980, UM982, and UM960, which are the trio of NebulasIV chipset platforms, two newly unveiled products—UB9A0 and UM981S, were also introduced to our booth visitors:
l UB9A0 is an all-constellation, multi-frequency high-precision board. The board can reach a 99.7% GNSS data utilization rate and a cycle slip ratio exceeding 30,000, ensuring stable, continuous tracking and delivering high-quality data for base stations, CORS, monitoring stations and tracking stations.
l UM981S is an integrated RTK and INS positioning module specifically designed for surveying and mapping. The module incorporates GNSS and IMU algorithms, which spares the alignment process before tilted measurements and enhances measurement accuracy from 60° to 90°. What’s more, its rapid initialization technology ensures a seamless user experience of UM981S.
Noticeably, Unicore has recently announced a partnership with ArduSimple, a renowned contributor in GNSS RTK technology and market. By integrating Unicore’s triple-frequency GNSS RTK modules into ArduSimple’s evaluation board, the enhanced product unlocks easy and rapid high-precision GNSS positioning experience for both specialized integrators and DIY enthusiasts. The product debuted at INTERGEO 2024.
